Production Technician

Highly skilled Production Technician required to work in a clean, bright, quiet, and respectful work environment. Solder and assemble palm sized devices from start to finish at an allocated workstation with minimal supervision.

Production Technician Responsibilities:

  • Assemble products and parts. We are a medical device company and this job is primarily assembling product. This includes soldering load cells and boards and then building the product.
  • Following production guidelines and specifications. You will be responsible for building a product beginning to end. Following recorded trainings and written assembly procedures.
  • Identify faults and troubleshooting wherever possible.
  • Communicate progress and meet production targets.
  • Responsible for following product test procedures, equipment operation, cleanliness and sound safety practices as documented in the company’s quality system manual.
  • Recommend changes in test procedures and test specifications to improve performance and functional testing of production or prototype components.

Production Technician Requirements:

  • Proficient in soldering techniques – this is essential. We do small part soldering so experience is necessary. Flat and through hole soldering is required
  • Experience assembling palm sized devices to high quality standards
  • A self-starter and adept at working independently Problem-solving skills.
  • A positive attitude and attention to detail.
  • High school diploma or similar, additional certification in a relevant field would be beneficial.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 – $23.00 per hour, depending on experience
