JTECH Medical™ Hardware Limited Warranty
JTECH Medical (“JTECH”) is committed to delivering devices designed to perform reliably, meet manufacturer’s specifications, and provide long-lasting service. Despite rigorous manufacturing processes, complete elimination of malfunctions caused by random component failure is not guaranteed. If the product fails to operate properly within the designated warranty period, JTECH will, at its sole discretion, repair or replace the product with a new or reconditioned unit at no charge. The warranty period begins on the date of purchase. All new hardware is covered by a standard one-year limited warranty.
Warranty Terms
- Conditions of Coverage: This warranty applies only under normal use conditions and does not cover damage resulting from misuse, abuse, accidents, unauthorized alterations, or improper maintenance.
- This warranty covers functional failures of the equipment only. Normal wear and tear of exposed surfaces, finishes, or consumables (e.g., batteries, cables) are excluded.
- Exclusions:
- JTECH is not responsible for medical expenses or any direct, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of this product.
- JTECH will not be held liable for loss of revenue, profits, or data resulting from or alleged to result from the use of this product.
- Disclaimer of Other Warranties: This warranty is provided in lieu of all other warranties, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
- Limitation of Liability: Under no circumstances shall JTECH be liable for any direct, incidental, or consequential damages. Remedies under this warranty are exclusive and limited to those explicitly stated herein, except as specifically mandated by applicable state law. In no event will JTECH’s liability exceed the price paid for the hardware, regardless of the nature of the claim.
Additional Provisions
- JTECH will, at its sole discretion, replace the product with a JTECH certified replacement device at no charge.
- JTECH will ship a JTECH certified replacement device within 24 hours of the time the RMA is issued.
- Devices must include an RMA number when returned or they will be rejected.
- JTECH will use standard ground shipment at no charge to the customer or will use 2nd day or overnight shipping at the customer’s expense.
- Any unauthorized attempt to upgrade, modify, or repair devices covered under this agreement will result in termination of the warranty agreement. JTECH will provide written notice of the breach, and no refunds will be issued in such cases.
- JTECH reserves the right to modify the terms and conditions of this agreement with written notice to the customer.
- No individual or entity has the authority to modify or extend this warranty on behalf of JTECH, unless expressly authorized in writing by JTECH.
- Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages or limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts. Therefore, these limitations may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary by state.
